Der Rolling Step Down Express Fonds (WKN: A0M8VC) verfolgt durch Verwendung des innovativen Rolling Step Down Mechanismus das Ziel, dem Anleger selbst in stürmischeren Börsenzeiten kontinuierlich attraktive Renditen zu ermöglichen. Dem Mechanismus liegt der Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50® Index zu Grunde, durch den der Anleger in die 50 größten europäischen Unternehmen, wie z.B. Allianz, E.ON oder Nokia, investieren können.

Der prozentuale Kupon bezieht sich dabei immer auf den Nominalwert der Rolling Aktienanleihe in Höhe von 100%.

Die Grafik verdeutlicht die Funktionsweise des Rolling Step Down Mechanismus. Erstmals nach 13 Monaten (31. März 2009), wird der aktuelle Indexstand des Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50® mit seinem Stand am 29. Februar 2008 verglichen. Notiert er auf oder über diesem Stand, wird bereits an diesem Beobachtungstag der Maximalertrag erzielt. Andernfalls wird der Indexstand drei Monate später (30. Juni 2009) wiederum beobachtet. Nun muss der Index nur noch 97% seines ursprünglichen Indexstandes (Basispreis) überwinden, um den Maximalertrag zu erzielen. Dieses Prozedere wiederholt sich alle drei Monate, bis der Index entweder einmal auf oder oberhalb des immer weiter sinkenden Basispreises notiert, oder spätestens nach 61 Monaten eine letzte Beobachtung erfolgt. Notiert der Index dann auf oder über 52% des Indexstandes am Festlegungstag (29. Februar 2008), wird der Maximalertrag erzielt, andernfalls geht die tatsächliche Wertentwicklung des Index in die Fondsberechnung ein.

Über den rollenden Mechanismus immer gut investiert bleiben

Greift der Rolling Step Down Mechanismus, d.h., notiert der Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50® am entsprechenden Beobachtungstag auf oder über dem zu übertreffenden Basispreis, endet die Investitionsperiode, und der Maximalertrag wird dem Fonds (abzüglich Verwaltungsgebühren) gutgeschrieben. Der Anleger bleibt aber dennoch weiterhin investiert, denn das Kapital wird inklusive der angefallenen Erträge erneut in einen Rolling Step Down Mechanismus investiert. Die Funktionsweise des Mechanismus bleibt identisch, lediglich der Maximalertrag wird den dann geltenden Marktgegebenheiten (z.B. Zinsniveau, Volatilitätsniveau etc.) angeglichen. Der Maximalertrag kann also bei Beginn einer neuen Investitionsperiode höher oder niedriger sein als in der Vorperiode.
